Founded in November 2024, Teton Transit has quickly become one of the fastest-growing moving companies in the Teton Valley area, built on strong referrals, great reviews, and a reputation for hardworking, trustworthy movers.

Meet the Owner – Carlos Posada

Teton Transit was founded by Carlos Posada, who originally grew up in Florida before making the move west in search of a new chapter. When Carlos arrived in Teton Valley, he immediately fell in love with the community, the mountains, and the small-town lifestyle.

For four years, Carlos worked as a Sous Chef at Grand Targhee Resort, where he built a reputation for hard work, leadership, and attention to detail. During that time, he realized he wanted to truly build a life in the Tetons and create something of his own within the community.

After transitioning into the moving industry, Carlos quickly worked his way up to a General Manager position at a local moving company. Through that experience, he learned the ins and outs of the industry and discovered ways the customer experience could be improved.

He loved the personal connections with clients and meeting new people every day, but he also saw opportunities to raise the bar for professionalism and service. That’s when the vision for Teton Transit was born.

Starting with just a truck, a trailer, and a hardworking team, Carlos launched the company with a mission to create a moving service built on trust, transparency, and genuine care for customers.


Unlike many moving companies, Carlos remains personally involved in the work. You’ll often find him out on jobs alongside his crew, making sure every move meets the high standards that Teton Transit was built on.
